I work with individuals and couples using a person-centered and compassionate approach. I currently work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, grief, stress, burnout, substance misuse, life transitions, and relationship challenges (with romantic partners, family members and friends).
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and graduated with a Master in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. Prior to this work, my interest in mental health began during my thesis research in Nova Scotia on mental health policy, legislation, and strategies where I graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Acadia University.
I value examining clients’ challenges through an intersectional lens, which includes recognizing how clients’ intersecting sociopolitical identities (e.g., gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, class, age, religion, and spirituality) influence how they navigate and experience the world.
I am currently seeing clients virtually and offer in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
